About Us

Tom Sheives – Chief Unstuck Officer

Tom is a speaker, educator, consultant, author, and coach. His mission is to “Get Project Teams and Management Teams Unstuck!” Tom’s new book OPPORTUNITY unstuck! describes key principles discovered from his recent experience in training over 175 executives in Project Management with the Panama Canal Authority.

Tom has helped companies such as Texas Instruments, Lockheed Martin, and Microsoft. He leads companies to develop a solid methodology in project management through the reprogramming of individual and team behaviors. Tom has written and delivered training for PMP® certification Fundamentals/Advanced Topics in Project Management Requirements Development, Leadership and Teaming. He has delivered a widely acclaimed project management simulation program.

Tom SheivesTom is a graduate of Texas A&M, Baylor University, University of New Mexico, Coach U, and is on the faculty of the University of Texas at Dallas and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also trained to deliver project team assessments, several 360° assessments, the Winslow Personality Assessment, and the Personal Coaching Styles Inventory.

Tom is on the board of the National Speakers Association – North Texas and the Fort Worth PMI Chapter. He has keynoted over 30 speeches and workshops across the country to project management organizations, corporations, and management organizations in 2010.

Lynn Banis – Master Certified Coach


Lynn is a Master Certified Coach who has devoted over thirty years to the development of human and organizational potential. She is recognized for her clarity of thought, her ability to ask deep questions, and her business acumen. Lynn’s coaching includes developing star players in the corporate arena by leveraging the person’s strengths with respect to personal, professional, and organizational goals. In addition to executive coaching, Lynn is a talented instructional designer, researcher, and tele-seminar leader. She also is deeply involved in preparing new coaches for certification and in helping them build their businesses.

Lynn is forthright, future-focused and drives towards solutions. She quickly establishes trust with her clients and helps them meet their objectives. Whether Lynn is working with individuals or groups, her clients say she really “hears” them and that she has been instrumental in guiding them through complex, often difficult situations.
In addition to founding Discovery Point Coaching, Lynn is Chief Coaching Officer for Turnkey Coaching Solutions, a global business and life coach pro-gram management company; and is Managing Director of Coaching for Coach Academy Texas, a cutting edge coach training company that is developing the NEXT GENERATION of coaches.

Previously, she was a Senior Manager, Performance Consulting with Ander-sen Worldwide and focused her efforts improving leadership development and managing large scale change. Earlier, she held executive positions in large healthcare organizations in leadership development, training, and quality management. She began her career as an educator.

Tresia Eaves – Project Management Expert

Tresia Eaves is a 20-year professional technology consultant, instructor and speaker. She helps people, teams, and whole organizations get “unstuck” with her ability to bring about changes in effectiveness with real-time, rele- vant data and current solutions that appeal and are applicable to those will- ing to change.

As an officer in the U.S. Air Force, early in her career, Tresia established great habits and developed into a leader where she took on her first project assignments. She has influenced progressive change for companies like Zixit Corporation, KForce.com, SENTEL Corporation, the Internal Revenue Service, and several other government departments and agencies. She has recently joined Dibon Technologies as the Vice President of their Business Solutions group where she plans to lead Dibon into providing world-class “cloud” solutions.

Her practical style of teaching enables participants to walk away with skills to use immediately. She uses her research, knowledge, experience, and wisdom to direct the audience precisely to conclusions and insights on how to improve—today! Her accomplishments with data integration (including multiple tool suites from Microsoft, IBM Rational, and Mercury) have brought her world-renowned acclaim. She has successfully implemented complex Earned Value Management systems for government contracts and blazed a trail for multiple organizations toward their successful quality and compliance goals (ISO, CMMI, ANSI, HIPAA, etc).

Tresia has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Baylor University, a Masters degree in Human Relations–Organizational Behavior from the University of Oklahoma. She achieved her PMP in 1999, received the Kerzner International PM of the Year Award in 2007 for her work with IRS, and recently graduated from the PMI Leadership Master’s Course at EMEA in May of 2010.
